This door had come off its track and was hanging at an angle across the opening. A door in this position can shift without warning, so the first step is keeping people and vehicles clear and not running the opener.
Off-track doors are assessed as a whole system. The tracks, rollers, cables, and lifting hardware are checked before the door is returned to service, so the cause is addressed and not only the symptom.
